Nicole Kracum (née Pey), Director, Credit Strategy, maintains a dedicated focus on the development of premier credit strategy and investor outreach solutions for municipal clients nationwide. She joined Oppenheimer in October 2024 and sits in the Chicago office. Prior to Oppenheimer, Ms. Kracum worked at UBS for over eight years, most recently in a similar Credit Strategy role, after serving as a public finance investment banker for four years, during which time she also contributed to two Bond Buyer “Deal of the Year” financings. Ms. Kracum began her career in finance as an analyst in UBS’s two-year graduate talent program and previously held a board position in the Chicago Chapter of Women in Public Finance. Outside of Public Finance, Nicole is a board member for the Children’s Research Fund, which is affiliated with Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago, and the Field Museum Women’s Board. Ms. Kracum attended Colorado College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics with a minor in Music. She was named a Rising Star by The Bond Buyer in 2022 and holds FINRA Series 7, 52 and 66 securities licenses.
