Mark McIntire

Mark McIntire currently serves as Director, Healthcare and Higher Education at Assured Guaranty where he leverages his extensive healthcare business advisor experience to underwrite bond insurance credits and conduct business outreach. During his 28-year career, he has worked with a variety of healthcare providers from critical access facilities and single site community hospitals to several of the largest healthcare systems in the country. He has advised, rated or arranged for credit support for over $10 billion in financings.

Prior to joining Assured, Mr. McIntire served as a Senior Credit Officer and Co-head of Moody’s Investors Service’s Midwest Public Finance office. Previous to that, he was a Senior Vice President in Kaufman Hall’s Capital Markets group and a Senior Analyst in JPMorgan’s healthcare investment banking practice. In these roles, he focused on advising, structuring, and/or rating a variety of credits and bond transactions.

Mr. McIntire is a frequent speaker at professional conferences and has written extensively on healthcare topics. He holds a BS from Indiana University and an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
