Kevin Langlais is a Managing Director with more than 25 years of experience serving as a banker to the public power industry. He leads Bank of America’s eight‑person Public Power and Energy Prepay Group, where he is responsible for the day‑to‑day coverage of municipal utility clients nationwide. Prior to joining Bank of America in 2010, Kevin spent ten years in the public power group of another major financial institution, working in its New York, Seattle, and Chicago offices.
Kevin is highly active in the Texas market, having served as lead manager on four transactions totaling more than $3.1 billion in 2025 for CPS Energy, the Lower Colorado River Authority, the Kerrville Public Utility Board, and TexGas. Nationally, he has led financings for clients such as the Long Island Power Authority, MEAG Power, Santee Cooper, American Municipal Power, Omaha Public Power District, Nebraska Public Power District, Energy Northwest, and Seattle City Light, among others.
Kevin is a graduate of James Madison University and lives in Brooklyn, NY, with his daughter Charlotte, his son Finn, and their poorly trained dog, Bruno.
